With a removable top and sections, the Transition Box is part of a series based on Tasmania's alpine regions. It discusses the elements of change from pre-European settlement through early pioneering times in alpine Tasmania.
Toby Muir Wilson is a renown Tasmanian woodworker and designer. Designing and making a variety of object ranging through boxes, seating and tables to large cabinets. Using a range of Tasmanian timbers, colours and textures, expertly expressed through skills accumulated over 40 years.
Materials: Blackwood, Cleaved King Billy Pine, found Eucalypt and rocks.
