Samantha Dennis: Handmade Milk Jug
These hand thrown milk jugs are a beautiful addition to a kitchen, as a display piece or vase.
Samantha Dennis is an emerging artist and self-taught potter from central North Tasmania. Her designs include a modest range of tableware for private businesses across Tasmania.
Dennis draws inspiration from science and natural history, fascinated with micro lifeforms, bringing and unique touch to design.
Dennis was the winner of the Jewellery Award in the 2019 Design Awards. She is the 2016 Artentwine Biennale ‘Small Sculpture Prize’ winner and has been exhibited locally and interstate. Dennis showed new work at the Salamanca Arts Centre in 2019 and was featured in a curated exhibition at the 2019 Australian Ceramics Triennale in Hobart.
