Tallulah Eaves

Tallulah Eaves Ceramics Tallulah is a ceramicist based in Launceston. She is currently studying a dual bachelors in Fine Arts and History at the University of Tasmania. Her work is driven by a fascination with the world around here. In her practice, she often draws upon her dreams and memories from her childhood.

She gravitates toward living things, particularly the natural and 'unhuman'. She loves to find beauty in ordinary places. The pottery wheel grounds her work. Throwing, turning and firing are transformative processes seemingly imbued with magic. Her work is inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement of the late 19th century, particularly the textile and wallpaper designs produced by Morris & Co.
